Creative Process

We were contacted by Tapypay.ch and Alphabyte.io specifically for our Android expertise. Their was initially a minimal working React Native app, but they needed a deep integration of the Android-Native-only Hobex Payment System SDK to support credit card transactions.  

After successfully integrating Hobex payments, our collaboration grew. We extended the app with EPSON and Sunmi printer support, giving merchants reliable receipt printing directly from the app. From there, we continued to help Tapypay prepare for launch, setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate Play Store deployments.  

Finally, we supported Tapypay in enabling third-party app communication*, ensuring the system could integrate smoothly with other POS tools. Our role expanded from native SDK integration to long-term support, making sure the app remained stable, scalable, and production-ready.

Results  

The Tapypay.ch Android app successfully launched, empowering merchants with secure Hobex-powered card payment, receipt printing, and third-party integrations. The collaboration with Alphabyte.io allowed the app to deliver reliable, production-ready POS functionality to Tapypay users.

Conclusion  

By focusing on native SDK integration , payment reliability , printing services and deployment automation, we helped Tapypay.ch achieve an Android app with POS Payment and Printing services.
